Dr. Jennifer Smith, Associate English Professor

Description

Jennifer Smith is the Associate Professor of English, the founder and coordinator of the Digital Humanities Program, and also the Associate Director of the Center for Faith and Learning at Pepperdine University. Her primary research interest is in late medieval English vernacular theology, with an emphasis on the life and writings of Bishop Reginald Pecock. Her translation of Pecock's Book of Faith will be published by UCLA's Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies and Johns Hopkins University Press in 2020. With funding from the Waves of Innovation Grant, she is also developing an educational app called, The Vineyard, to enable teachers everywhere to create a more merciful and just classroom.
